Competition and comparison are two of the hallmarks of our society: how does what I am, do, make, own stack up against you? Even if I don’t actually know you.
This can be true even in our spiritual journey. Even after Jesus tells us to be servants, that many who are first will be last and many who are last will be first (Mt. 19:30).
Our measure is not based on comparison but on obedience. Did we do what we were asked or told, go where we were sent?
Obedience in our own situation, in our own walk with Jesus is the measure.
