Yesterday was Election Day in the US. It is consistently preceded by much hoopla and hyperbole and kerfuffles. All of which are wonderful words to say by the way.
And today and for some way too many days coming there will continue to be much hoopla and hyperbole and kerfuffles. There will be gnashing of teeth and general doomsaying.
I’m already tired of the hoopla and hyperbole and kerfuffles. I have been for some time. The real question of course is: what am I going to do with that weariness?
Welp. Pray comes to mind as we are directed to pray for those God puts in leadership. Even when they are the Babylonia captors. Who are condemning us to be burned to death in a hideous furnace or thrown to the lions.
He’s still in charge. And only Him.
