There are at least two ways to look at the picture above. Either the rocks are moving through the sand or the tide is causing an illusion that the rocks are “leading the way”.
In reality, the rocks are being left behind. Few of us would have actually thought that the rocks were moving forward mostly because we understand the stationary nature of rocks. You would also need to know that there is a tide contributing to this picture.
Susan Collins in her book “Fierce Conversations” says that everyday people tell us who they are if we listen. Understanding the context of a situation and the nature of the people involved gives us an idea of whether someone is leading or not. Is someone being left behind or are they moving forward?
Jesus clearly stated Who He was and is. The world systems would like us to believe that they are the answer, the way, the truth, and the life. Actually, they are rocks left behind by the tide with no ability to give life to the full. Illusions.
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
