…the earth is full of His unfailing love…Psalm 33:5
His unfailing love. Wow. In a world where nothing is perfect, where failing is the norm, we have the Perfect, the Everlasting, the Eternal God loving us.
I was so struck by this phrase recently, thinking about all of the examples of His unfailing love. Love that I cannot earn and also cannot lose. The fact that I cannot lose His love is overwhelming.
The literal translation of the Hebrew renders “unfailing love” as “kindness”. What are God’s kindnesses to me? To all of us?
