As I chuckled, rather loudly, over a meme that could have been written by me if I was a bit more clever, I also reflected on what I knew about the author. They have a similar outlook as I do. Period. That’s it.
I have no idea where they live, what their faith is or even if they ascribe to faith, their gender, their eye color, their relationship status, or anything else that we – I – use, often without knowing, to establish validity of viewpoint. Heavens for all I know they are being created by trolls – Russian Trolls even! Which I’m guessing look oddly like a LOTR cave troll, or at least that’s what pops in my head when I read those words.
It is interesting to watch how often a viewpoint is considered valid or not solely based on who is championing it, and whether I think they are like me. We are more alike than we are being told.
