What an interesting phrase: “…healed the boy and and gave him back to his father.”
I think about loved ones in my life that I have received “back” – healed enough to come back. To be able to return home, return to life, return to love, return to family. They were gone for many different reasons. Some are back and some, I trust, will be given back. I remember when I was/am “given back”.
Given back. Jesus gives each of us back to our Father, healed and forgiven. Redeemed.
“And they were all amazed at the greatness of God.” – Luke 9:43
