Joy

I John 1:4 (two translations):

We write this to make our joy complete. – NIV

These things we write to you, that your joy may be full. – Young’s Translation

The verses preceding I John 1:4 refer to fellowship with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ and also with other believers. It is interesting to look at the two different translations not as a disagreement between translations but rather as a perspective.

What would I write/say to someone that would strengthen and enhance our fellowship – that would make my joy complete and their joy full? What creates joy in fellowship?
