“We can do it!” was originally published in 1943 as a way to boost morale among workers at Westinghouse Electric. This iconic poster has been turned into many different things including a magnet and a rally cry.
In our house it represents family unity, reliance on each other, and the understanding that we all contribute to accomplishing those things that must be done, can be done, and are done. There is a confidence represented by this magnet which we wanted our children to have. In different ways and to varying degrees, we have succeeded.
On to the grandchildren!
