One of my daily readings reminded me that Jesus is all-powerful. He is not just a (much) nicer me with some cool magic tricks.
Sometimes that is hard to remember – especially when coupled with my inability to see God’s timing.
I need to remember that Jesus is not on my schedule – I am on His. He is not a benevolent grandparent looking to indulge me and my whims. He is the Creator – writ with “C”. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and He has a plan for me that even now is under way.
Wow.
